Jeff Childs, Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, U. S. Cellular.  Jeff joined the company in January 2004 and oversees all human resource-related activities for the organization and is a member of the executive management team.  Prior to joining the telecommunications firm, he served as a senior partner with Brimstone Consulting Group and a key leader in the HR organization with Ameritech/SBC.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ball State University and is a graduate of the Global Leadership Program at the University of Michigan.  He serves as member of the Pension Committee and the HR Committee of the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.  He has been active with HRMAC’s executive roundtables, served as Board Secretary, 2009 Leadership Series Committee Chair and PR Committee Chair before being elected to Chair of the Board for 2010-2011.  Jeff now serves as the Chair of the Nominating Committee.
