Katie Lawler, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, GATX Corporation. Katie joined GATX in May, 2008 and leads the human resources function for the organization. Prior to joining GATX, Katie held a wide range of positions in operations, human resources and law with Tribune Company in Chicago and New York. She began her career as an attorney handling labor and employment matters.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame. She has been active with the CHRO roundtable, participated as a panelist at SUMMIT 2009, and has served as a member of 2011 Leadership Series Committee.  She is currently the chair of the 2012 Leadership Committee.
