HRMAC Bulletin Board Rules/Code of Conduct
Welcome to our Bulletin Boards, where you can share in conversations and interests with fellow HRMAC members. We ask that you take the time to review and please abide by the following points to assure that this in an enjoyable experience for all.
RULES
- HRMAC maintains the rights to compile and publish relevant conversations as a way of enhancing the shared learning through participation in the bulletin boards.
- HRMAC reserves the right to exclude off-topic posts or those that are inappropriate to this member benefit.
- By submitting messages, information and material to this service, participants grant HRMAC a perpetual royalty-free license to reproduce, edit, modify, publish, transmit and display, transmit, create derivative works from, distribute or perform it in whole or in part or incorporate it in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed.
- No advertising or product/service promotion will be allowed.
- No communication under a false name or impersonation of any person will be tolerated.
- No defamation of any person, business, governmental or other entity, product or service is allowed.
- No infringement of any person or entity's copyright or trademark is allowed.
- No postings, which would be violations of Federal, state or international law prohibiting anti-competitive activities or unfair trade practices, are allowed.
- No spamming is allowed or tolerated.
- Participants agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of this service, use of this service, or access to this service.
- Participants agree that HRMAC has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any messages maintained or transmitted by this service.
- Participants agree to indemnify and hold HRMAC harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post to or transmit through this service, your use of this service, your connection to the service, your violation of the rules/code of conduct guidelines, or your violation of any rights of another.
- Participants are responsible for all activities that occur under his/her member number and password.
- Participants will not be allowed to manipulate or alter outstanding posts communicated through this service.
- Participants, not HRMAC, are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit via this service.
- Please be aware that participants can be held legally liable for posted comments.
- Posted messages will be periodically archived based on date of original post.
- Regarding embedded links in postings, participants agree that HRMAC is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.
- This is NOT an area for posting job announcements, listing survey data, etc.
- This service is moderated by HRMAC for appropriate information exchange.
- Please note: These rules/code of conduct guidelines may be updated by HRMAC at any time.
Code of Conduct
- It is preferred that you identify yourself when posting a message.
- Keep postings applicable to information or topics related to or of interest to human resource practitioners.
- No derogatory, inflammatory, or rude language will be allowed.
- Participants agree to immediately notify HRMAC of any unauthorized use of your member number and password.
- Please report any violations of the rules/code of conduct guidelines via the contact us link or HRMAC@HRMAC.org.
- Please provide a topic in the subject line when posting a message.
- Please proofread before posting your message.
- Please watch for duplicating posts. Scroll through the posts before submitting a question, as it may very well have been answered already.
