Panelists:

Michael McDonnell, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, Amsted Rail
Michael joined the company in August 2008. During a 21 year career in the transportation logistics and telecommunication industries, he demonstrated himself as an agent of growth and leadership. He is responsible for all technology aspects of Amsted Rail, including people development, global technology strategy, business enablement, and resiliency. He is responsible for developing a grassroots innovation program into a core competency within all aspects of Amsted Rail.

Before joining Amsted Rail, Michael served in a number of different technology leadership roles at both YRC Worldwide and Sprint Corporation. He has completed Innovation training at the University of Chicago, University of Notre Dame, Dartmouth College, and the University of California – Berkeley. Michael has also partnered with MIT to connect Amsted Rail with MIT’s innovation ecosystem. Through this training, he has participated in the course development, delivery, and application of materials at Amsted Rail. Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Baker University and an MBA from Rockhurst University which are located in the Kansas City metro area. 

Melanie Roush, Chief Security Officer, Dover Corporation 
Dover Corporation is a diversified global manufacturer of industrial products, delivering innovative equipment and components, specialty systems and support services around the world through four major operating segments: Energy, Engineered Systems, Fluids, and Refrigeration & Food Equipment.
Melanie is responsible for Global Information Security Oversight and Governance, including Security Operations and Architecture, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Information Governance and Identity and Access Management. Melanie has 18 years of Information Security experience in the Entertainment, Manufacturing and Retail Industry.

Before joining Dover this year, Melanie was Director of Information Security for Yum! Brands, Inc., the world’s largest restaurant company in terms of system units with over 40,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories. Yum! Brands, with more than 1.4 million employees and franchise associates worldwide, is the parent company to, KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. Additional experience includes roles as an Information Security Architect with Procter and Gamble and a Senior Information Security Lead with the Walt Disney Company. Her responsibilities included Security Oversight, Security Architecture, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Policy and Standard Development, Incident Response and 3rd Party Risk Management. Melanie earned her BS in Information Systems from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and was formerly a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) recognized by the PCI Standards Council. 

Jibran IIyas, Vice President, Cyber Resilience, Stroz Friedberg

Jibran is recognized as one of Crains ' TOP 40 UNDER 40!
Mr. Ilyas brings over 12 years of experience in the field of Information Security, with ten years specializing in the areas of incident response, digital forensics and threat intelligence. Today, he continues to contribute to the development of policies and procedures for innovation in incident response methodology and threat intelligence initiatives. He serves as one of the firm’s investigative leads for high profile data breaches, and in turn, leverages this knowledge to the benefit of organizations seeking proactive risk assessments.

Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Jibran investigated some of the world's largest breaches in the financial, technology and defense sectors. This included working closely with law enforcement agencies to track and ultimately arrest major threat actor groups. In 2008, he was respectfully credited with being the first researcher to publish a whitepaper on memory dumping malware and its connection to large scale breaches in the retail industry. Visa Inc. soon thereafter issued Mr. Ilyas’ findings in a two-page “Visa Data Security Alert.” As a thought leader throughout the years, Jibran presented on the topics of computer forensics and cybercrime at several global security conferences including DEFCON, Black Hat, Microsoft Digital Crimes Conference, SecTor and SOURCE Barcelona. Furthermore, he has conducted forensics training and developed a related program syllabus for United States Secret Service (USSS).
Jibran holds a Bachelors of Science degree from DePaul University and Masters Degree in Information Technology Management from Northwestern University.
 
Rocio Baeza, Chief Information Security Officer, Jemurai 
Rocio has six years of experience in IT security, with foundations in the online financial services space. Jemurai is a consulting firm specializing in application security. Rocio focuses on a core of services, which include, acting as a virtual CISO, developing strategy and roadmaps, performing risk assessments, developing policy, and delivering training. 

Her ability to cut through technical jargon, approach discussions candidly, and create focus on the high-risk areas sets her apart in the industry. Rocio believes that simplifying data security concepts is what will ultimately help organizations make the decisions that are right for them.
 
Isabella Polotzek, Global Mobility Consultant, Hub Americas at Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company
She manage international assignments from and to the US throughout the entire life cycles at all hierarchical levels across Allianz companies; consult and support employees, the business and HR professionals in all questions regarding global mobility solutions (e.g. assignments, business trips, local agreements); provide guidance and monitor legal, tax, payroll, social security and immigration requirements; negotiate, review and execute global mobility guidelines including cost projections in alignment with line managers and HR departments worldwide; manage exceptions; collaborate with all relevant interfaces internally i.e. Group Tax, Group Legal, Crisis Management as well as externally i.e. relocation vendors, immigration specialists, intercultural and security training providers, tax consultants; instruct (inter-)national payrolls with regards to payments, taxes/ social security; active participation in ERC network; strategic support in establishing the Global Mobility Hub Americas
