Recent survey data, research, and analyses published by leading professional service firms such as PwC, Bersin/Deloitte, and the Economist Intelligence Unit, point to a significant gap between what the c-suite sees as business-critical human capital strategies and the perception that HR “doesn't understand the business well enough” to effectively develop and execute on these strategies.

Andrea Ingram, Vice President, Education and Guest Services, Museum of Science and Industry
Andrea Ingram is responsible for the MSI’s Center for Advancement of Science Education, which includes MSI’s extended teaching and learning strategies, as well the museum’s Guest Admissions and Guest Operations departments. Prior to joining MSI, Ms. Ingram worked to build access to public systems and supports, as the Director of the Budget & Tax Policy Initiative at Voices for Illinois Children and later on the executive management team for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Prior to her work in public policy Ms. Ingram was a partner in a San Francisco business law firm. She has a B.A. in Justice from the American University and a J.D. from the University of California Davis.
