Retention of key talent is critical for achieving strategic business priorities yet so many organizations treat talent management as an HR issue or problem to be solved through counter-offers or retention bonuses. This reactive approach limits the ability to take a step back and create an experience that offers a compelling value proposition for high potential and high performing employees from the moment they join the company. Identifying these employees and then understanding their unique motivations can be achieved through a combination of assessments, effective management and ongoing performance discussions that focus on the future and the employee’s connection to the “bottom line”. 

In this session we will have an interactive discussion, supported by thought leadership in the field, to explore:

  • Effectively leveraging assessments to identify employee strengths and motivations, serving as a predictor of retention strategies targeted to key employees.
  • Creating a culture where career paths are clear, flexible and connected to evolving business priorities.
  • The role of managers and leaders in driving a culture that engages, motivates and keeps key employees.
  • Tips for assessing your current culture to identify the ability to support employees who possess a variety of ambitions and strengths
