                                                 Social Media & Career Development

As an HR professional it's important to maintain a strong digital footprint at any stage in your career. Social media is more than just a source of information - it's your first impression on a potential employer, whether you are aware of it or not. Now, more than ever, hiring managers find a candidate's Linked in profile or Facebook page as an initial vetting - sometimes prior to even a standard phone interview. In this presentation, we will review tips to build a personal brand with your online presence, break down the 4 C's of social media, how to stay consistent across platforms, best practices for posting on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn - and more.
