Program Description
The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), currently pending in the U.S. House of Representatives, would amend the National Labor Relations Act to, among other things, establish an easier system to enable employees to form, join, or assist labor organizations, and provide for mandatory injunctions for unfair labor practices during organizing efforts.
In this program you will learn what EFCA is and how it could change current law. You will gain insight into the current political situation surrounding EFCA and some changes that may be made as it is being considered by Congress. You will also learn about other labor reforms that are possible under the current Administration and strategies to prepare your organization for changes that lie ahead.
