Program Description:
While many believe the worst of the current economic recession may be behind us, the realities of the current economy are that businesses continue to engage in global contraction of operations. In this context, human resources managers are more frequently being called upon to foresee relevant HR issues involved with such operational reductions and to alert business units ahead of time regarding what can and can't be done, what timeframes are realistic, and what pitfalls to avoid.
This program will cover all of these issues and will provide a worldwide update (region by region) of how these issues often "play out", including stories from the "real world" as told by inside company representatives. The session will conclude with a checklist of practical steps for the global HR professional.
