Professional success and a successful job search can hinge on your ability to build relationships. Yet many people struggle to develop and retain the connections that lead to landing the right job now and a successful netowrk for the future. As you go through your transition journey, ask yourself these questions:
-
Are you unsure how to build rapport and connect with people so they will want to hire you or introduce you to others?
-
Do you go to professional and networking events and meet many people but fail to follow up?
-
Do you find it difficult to answer the question, “What do you do?”
-
Have you picked up the phone to meet or reconnect with someone and felt like you were bothering or “stalking” the person?
If you answered “yes” to even one of these questions, then you won’t want to miss this interactive session which introduces a relationship selling approach for managing your career and job search. Participants will learn how to execute a sales framework to their job search, how to create intentional relationships and how to stay top of mind with contacts, prospective employers and connectors that can lead to new opportunities.
