The Program
Leadership, plain and simply, is about exciting others to exceptional performance. For many organizations, this includes increasing innovation and leading their organizations to enhancing both the innovation of new products and services as well as the incremental improvement of systems, processes and approaches.
In this session, our speaker will share research of experts in leadership, Rob Goffee and Gareth Jones of the London School of Business and authors of the book and HBR article, Why Should Anyone Be Lead by You? to explain what executives who are able to innovate and execute business strategy do differently than others. We will explore the importance of having conviction and how to help leaders find it, as well as utilizing proven leadership tools to inspire followers to innovate and change.
There will be a brief overview of the research and concepts as well as facilitated discussion with participants on the challenges and successes they experience in leading innovation.
