Panel members from specialty areas such as organization development and talent acquisition, will share real life examples of how they have pitched and promoted their projects and initiatives to win resources, approval and funding  from their HR and Business leaders, sometimes at the expense of another HR group or initiative.   And our HR Leader Panelist will share how they decide among proposed programs and initiates, often with limited budgets and unknown Business Leader buy in.

Jill Perlstein, Talent Acquisition Leader, Marsh & McLennan Companies

Jill has been with MMC since late 2013, and has over 16 years of talent acquisition experience within the insurance and financial services industry.  Prior to MMC, Jill spent seven years at Travelers Insurance in ascending roles – she first joined as an individual contributor (actuarial recruiting SME), and then began managing a team in about 2008.  Her recruiting areas of expertise are Actuarial/Analytics, Business Intelligence, Product Management/Pricing, and Underwriting and Sales, within the Life, Health, Pension and Property/Casualty insurance industries.    

Marcy Brajkovic, Director, Core Investments/Leadership, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, WW Grainger

Marcy guides the enterprise strategic investments in leadership, talent and organizational effectiveness that are required to achieve Grainger's corporate strategy.  Previously, Marcy was the Global Manager, Strategic Change and User Adoption COE at Hospira.  Prior to joining Hospira, Marcy held progressively responsible HR management and strategic organizational change consulting positions with SC Johnson, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst and Young.  Marcy holds an undergraduate dual-degree in Psychology and Public Policy and a Masters in Education from Michigan State University.  

Marcy is actively involved as a volunteer in her community elementary school as PTO Vice President and Fundraising Chair, served five years as Chair and Program Chair for America SAP Users’ Group (ASUG) Organizational Change Management Special Interest Group, and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.

Paul Ramsey, Human Resource Executive

Paul Ramsey brings considerable HR related depth and breadth given his 25+ years of leadership experience in multiple fortune 500 companies. 

He possesses a unique and demonstrated blend of both strategy design and executional excellence. His most significant areas of interest relate to organizational challenges- including organizational transformations, cultural integrations following acquisitions and leadership development. 

Paul most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources for CDK Global where he was accountable for establishing a new HR organization in support of the recently spun off $2 billion Dealer Services Division of ADP. CDK provides turn-key ERP solutions to 20,000+ automotive dealerships worldwide.  Prior to CDK, Paul was Division Vice President, Human Resources for Dealer Services business unit of ADP, headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.  In that capacity he was responsible for all Human Resources activity in support of the division employing 9,000+ associates across North America, Europe, The Middle East, South Africa, and the Asia Pacific Region..  He also has significant leadership experience in mergers and acquisitions having been the HR lead on over 10 major (40+ overall) US and international acquisitions during his tenure with ADP.
