Michelle Krier, Vice President, Solution Design, ClearEdge Marketing

Michelle’s expertise is designing and executing digital marketing initiatives to improve brand awareness, drive marketing and recruiting activity, and activate a community of raving fans for companies in the human capital space. Prior to joining ClearEdge Marketing, Michelle was the head of marketing for Pinstripe, now Cielo, an industry-leading recruitment process outsourcing firm. As part of her client-facing role, she developed talent attraction strategies, which combined social media with traditional recruitment marketing efforts.


Kelly Capre, Staff Specialist, Social Media and Employment Brand, Programs & Talent Acquisition, United Airlines

Kelly has spent her career in campus recruiting and recently transitioned to the role of Employment Branding and Social Media. She is responsible for the research and implementation of best practices in employment branding, search engine optimization and social media engagement. Kelly creates and curates a pipeline of shareable social content such as stories, videos, or employee testimonials in order to communicate United’s unique culture.

Kunur Patel, Leads Content Planning, Twitter, Central region

Kunar educates Fortune 100 brands on building effective, holistic content strategy for the platform. Before Twitter, she was the first Brand Strategist at the social software startup Percolate, where she consulted B2C and B2B brands on creating content systems powered by technology. Previously, she was a reporter for Ad Age and Creativity, covering digital marketing, mobile and agencies. Her career in advertising started as a digital media buyer and planner for Starcom in her hometown Chicago. She's a graduate of Vassar College and Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.  Kunur has presented at conferences hosted by the Association of National Advertisers, the Mobile Marketing Association, and Ad Age’s Digital conferences in New York and San Francisco, as well as its Creativity and Technology events in New York and London.

Kathleen Curtis Wolf, Senior Manager, Corporate Reputation & Interactive Media, Whirlpool Corporation

Growing up in a family of small business owners, Kathleen is not your typical sales and marketing professional at a large company. She’s always been an entrepreneur on the inside of a corporation.  Unleashing her passion for branding, consumer research and customer experience, Kathleen uses creativity, informed intuition and actionable insights to uncover and tackle new opportunities. Kathleen Wolf has a B.S. degree in Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago and an M.S. degree

Jack A. Segal, Vice President of Communications, Comcast Greater Chicago Region

Segal oversees media relations, social media and internal communications for the region, which has 7,000 employees and serves more than 2 million customers.   
Before joining Comcast, Segal served as vice president of Public Affairs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL).  In that role, he was responsible for community relations, editorial services, state government relations, media relations and local social media.  Prior to BCBSIL, Segal served as a senior vice president in Edelman’s Chicago Health practice and in the role served domestic and international clients, ranging from major medical equipment manufacturers to an array of medical and dental associations.  Prior to joining Edelman, Segal held public relations positions at medical associations, hospitals and public relations firms, all in Chicago.  
Segal serves on the boards of the Center on Halsted, which provides an array of programs and services for the LGBTQ community, and BUILD, which helps Chicago youth avoid gangs and violence and live fulfilling lives.  




This program has been approved for 1.5 credit hours towards PHR/SPHR/SPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as 1.5 professional development credits (PDC's) toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certification.
