CHRO Roundtables

HRMAC CHRO Roundtables are forums exclusively for senior HR executives (and senior HR executives in transition) to gather and discuss hot topics and critical issues. These informative, educational sessions provide participants with a local peer network to share leading-edge information and benchmark against best practices in a neutral setting. Held 5 times annually, the Roundtables are designed as an opportunity for CHRO-level executives from HRMAC member companies to enjoy highly interactive forums on a strategic topic of interest.

Each program begins with topical material presented by a content expert(s) from sponsor organizations and includes opportunities for open discussion and dialogue among attendees.

Employers have implemented wellness and well-being programs to improve employee health, happiness and productivity — and with the hope that healthier workers will have decreased medical costs. Also, many employers expect that wellness programs will help create a culture of health in their workplaces and believe such programs can help them become an employer of choice. Well-being programs continue to evolve, and the presenters will share strategies for HR leaders to achieve sustained behavioral changes and a healthier workforce from better-targeted incentives that cost less and earning more employee loyalty with thoughtfully designed programs.

The session will also cover why:

  • Yesterday’s wellness programs don’t meet today’s needs
  • Members as consumers need a program that is personalized
  • Programs should move beyond physical wellness
